Kaitlin Henderson

Kaitlin Henderson is Assistant Professor in Theatre and Acting at the University of Florida School of Theatre + Dance. As a professional actor, director, and voice specialist, she maintains an 18-year affiliation with Shakespeare & Company where she developed teacher training programs for Shakespeare education. She holds an MFA in Acting from Northern Illinois University and a BA in Theatre Arts from Gordon College.

Her professional expertise includes:

• Shakespearean performance and pedagogy
• Linklater Voice and Knight-Thompson Speech methods
• Musical theatre performance
• Directing for stage

Professor Henderson has performed with regional theaters nationwide including Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Writers Theatre, and North Shore Music Theatre. She previously held faculty positions at Northern Illinois University, Monterey Peninsula College, and Southern Oregon University.
