Kaitlin Gold

Dr. Kaitlin Gold is an Assistant Professor at Cornell University within the School of Integrative Plant Science. She leads the Grape Sensing, Pathology, and Extension Lab (GrapeSPEC) at Cornell AgriTech in Geneva, NY, focusing on grape disease management and plant-microbe interactions in New York State.

• Education: PhD in Plant Pathology and MS in Applied Statistics from University of Wisconsin–Madison (2019).
• Research Interests: Plant disease detection, remote sensing, grape pathology, and precision agriculture using robotics and satellite imaging.
• Key Grants: Supported by NASA, USDA-NIFA, NSF, and agrichemical industry partnerships.
