Kaitlin Baudier

Dr. Kaitlin Baudier is an Assistant Professor at the University of Southern Mississippi, specializing in the study of social insects and their cooperative physiological adaptations to environmental stressors. Her research focuses on how individual behaviors and physiologies scale to group strategies, with particular emphasis on thermal macrophysiology and group competition in social species. She teaches courses in General Zoology and Comparative Animal Physiology.

Dr. Baudier holds a Ph.D. from Drexel University (2017) and a B.S. from Louisiana State University (2008). Her work integrates ecological and evolutionary perspectives, examining how climatic variation influences thermal tolerance and adaptation across species.
