Dr. Kaili Zhang is a Lecturer in Curriculum and Assessment at the School of Education, University of Glasgow. She has over 20 years of experience in education, spanning roles in Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand, and England. Her expertise includes teacher education, educational psychology, and alternative pedagogical approaches such as Montessori and Reggio Emilia. She investigates family belief systems' impact on resilience and early interventions in diverse settings.
Her research focuses on inclusive curriculum design, holistic child development, and student well-being. Notable contributions include studies on university student life satisfaction, home education dynamics, and early childhood practitioners' well-being. Kaili has authored over 80 publications and three books. Awards include UNESCO’s Asia-Pacific Regional Network Research Fellowship and teaching commendations.
