Kailash Joshi

Kailash Joshi is a Professor at the Ed G. Smith College of Business, University of Missouri–St. Louis. With a Ph.D. in Management Information Systems (MIS) from Indiana University, Bloomington (1986), he has extensive academic and industry experience.

• B.E. in Mechanical Engineering, University of Jodhpur (1971)

His research focuses on systems implementation, user issues in systems design, and the management of information systems (IS). He has also contributed to areas such as database design and business intelligence, informed by his teaching of courses like IS 6850 (Information Systems Design) and BA 3845 (Database Management Systems).

Before academia, he worked in industry for 9 years in materials management and systems. He is a member of the Association of Information Systems and the Decision Science Institute.
