Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kudret Aras is an Associate Professor at the Department of Philosophy, Faculty of Arts and Sciences at Bingöl University. His academic journey includes a PhD from Ankara University (2008-2013) focusing on Gilles Deleuze's ontology, along with advanced degrees from Marc Bloch University in France. He teaches courses like 'Introduction to Philosophy,' '17th-19th Century Philosophy,' and 'Postmodernism.' His research interests center on ontology, Deleuze studies, Levinasian ethics, and event theory. Aras has presented at international conferences including the 2nd International Symposium on Philosophy Education in Muga and the 'Thinking the Present with Philosophy' Symposium in Izmir. He serves as a referee for the Bingöl University Journal of Social Sciences.
