KJ Sanchez is an Associate Professor in Theatre and Dance at the University of Texas at Austin, specializing in directing, playwriting, and documentary theatre. She is the founder and CEO of American Records, a theatre company dedicated to chronicling contemporary stories. Her work spans institutions like The Alley Theatre, Guthrie Theatre, and Yale University (as a Fox International Fellow).
