Prof KHOO Peng Beng is the Head of the Architecture and Sustainable Design (ASD) pillar and Professor of Practice at Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD). Prior to joining SUTD, he was an Adjunct Associate Professor at the National University of Singapore (NUS) for over 23 years, leading international design studios. He co-founded ARC Studio Architecture + Urbanism in 1998, renowned for transformative designs in Singapore and globally. Notable projects include the Pinnacle@Duxton, which redefined sustainable high-rise housing and earned multiple awards.
His research focuses on quantum consciousness, holarchy, trans-contextuality, deep sustainability, integral ecology in architecture, and urban planning. He co-curated ArchiFest in 2022 and led the Singapore Pavilion at the Venice Biennale in 2010. His work emphasizes sustainable and socially impactful urban design.
