Imene Khames is an Associate Professor (MCF) at Université Le Havre Normandie since 2020/21. Previously, she held a postdoc position (Research Engineer) at INSA Rouen Normandie (2018-2019) and was an ATER (teaching-research contract) at Université de Lille (2019/20). Her PhD (2015-2018) focused on nonlinear network wave equations under advisors Jean-Guy CAPUTO and Arnaud KNIPPEL. She specializes in Complex Systems, Nonlinear Dynamical Systems on Networks, and Graph Theory applications. Her work integrates medical imaging via Image Processing techniques.
Educational background includes a Master’s in Pure and Applied Mathematics (2014-2015) supported by the J.A. Dieudonné Laboratory and a PhD funded by the XTerM project. She conducted research visits at UNAM Mexico (2016-2017), CIMAT Mexico (2018), and collaborated internationally via ECOS Nord grants.
Teaching includes Probability and Optimization courses at INSA Rouen, and academic supervision of engineering student Wang Yizhe. Awards include scholarships from J.A. Dieudonné and XTerM project funding. Her research spans over 15 presentations at global conferences (e.g., CCS 2016/2017, AIMS 2018), emphasizing periodic orbits in nonlinear systems and localized wave solutions on networks.
