Jürgen Roth

Prof. Dr. Jürgen Roth is a professor of mathematics and its didactics at the Rhineland-Palatinate University of Technology (RPTU) in Landau. He holds a prominent role in the Department of Natural and Environmental Sciences, leading the Mathematics Didactics research group. His research focuses on mathematical conceptualization, teaching-learning laboratories, and the integration of digital tools like GeoGebra in education. Key interests include inquiry-based learning, diagnostic competence development using video vignettes, and functional thinking.
