Jörg Stoye is the Ta-Chung Liu Professor of Economics at Cornell University, with affiliations in the Data Science program. He holds a PhD from Northwestern University and Dr.Sc. from Wageningen University.
His research develops microeconometric methods for partially identified parameters, revealed preference analysis, and statistical decision theory. He applies these to treatment choice problems and pandemic modeling.
Recent publications focus on consumer preference identification, constraint qualifications, and COVID-19 prevalence estimation. His work combines theoretical rigor with empirical applications.
