Jyoti Navare

Dr. Jyoti Navare is an Associate Professor at Middlesex University Business School, specializing in Risk Management, Corporate Social Responsibility, and International Business. She holds a PhD in Risk Management from Southampton University and is a Fellow of both the Higher Education Academy and the Chartered Insurance Institute. Her research focuses on small business social responsibility in developing economies, risk management frameworks, and financial inclusion strategies. She has led ESRC-funded projects, including the 'Research Handbook on Small Business Social Responsibility,' and serves on editorial boards for journals like the Journal of International Business and Economic Affairs.

Dr. Navare has extensive consulting experience with financial institutions globally, including roles in insurance underwriting and strategic risk evaluation. She is an independent director on boards such as Swale Housing and the Chartered Insurance Institute, and currently chairs the Audit and Risk Committee at Kingsbury High School. Recognitions include the Freedom of the City of London (2019) and membership in the Worshipful Company of Insurers. Her teaching spans undergraduate and executive programs in risk management, international marketing, and corporate governance.
