Justyna Kajta

Dr. Justyna Kajta is a Assistant Professor at the Institute of Social Sciences at SWPS University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Warsaw, Poland. She serves as Chairwoman of the Wrocław branch of the Polish Sociological Association since 2021 and contributes to the Youth Research Center, focusing on transitions to adulthood, social class mobility, and youth political engagement.

• Research on social class advancement and political views of young people
• Co-creator of the ULTRAGEN project (2021–present) studying adulthood transitions in global crises
• Principal Investigator for PARADEM project (2022) on Polish democratic practices

Her research synthesizes biographical methods, political sociology, and social movement analysis, with a focus on Poland's generational responses to crises. Recent publications analyze housing precarity, social media solidarity, and neoliberal education narratives through longitudinal and comparative frameworks.

Scientific recognition includes a Stanisław Ossowski Prize distinction (2020) for her book on Polish nationalist identities. She teaches Sociology of Social Movements at SWPS University.
