Justin Sabrowsky

Dr. Justin Sabrowsky is a Lecturer in the Department of Mathematical Sciences at Appalachian State University, based on the Hickory Campus. He joined the department in August 2023. His research and teaching focus on STEM Education, Universal Design for Learning, and Dis/ability Studies, with additional expertise in Bayesian Analysis and quantitative methodologies.

Dr. Sabrowsky holds a B.S. and B.A. from the University of Minnesota – Duluth, followed by an M.S. and Ph.D. from Iowa State University.

His work emphasizes inclusive educational practices, particularly in assessment and curriculum design, alongside critical analysis of quantitative methods. He contributes to advancing accessibility and equity in STEM through his research and pedagogical approaches.
