Justin Reed

Justin Reed is a Lecturer at Tufts University (2020-2021) and a Ph.D. candidate in English and Creative Writing at the University of Cincinnati. He holds an M.F.A. in Creative Writing (Fiction) from Florida State University (2013) and an M.Phil. in American Literature from the University of Cambridge (2014).

His research and creative interests focus on journey narratives, the integration of genre and literary fiction, international and domestic dystopian and climate fiction, speculative fiction, creative nonfiction, and contemporary American literature. His published articles explore speculative fiction, autofiction, and environmental narratives, with keywords spanning dystopian fiction, genre experimentation, and trauma representation.
