Justin Moody

Dr. Justin Moody is an Instructional Assistant Professor at the University of Mississippi, affiliated with the Department of Criminal Justice & Legal Studies within the School of Applied Sciences. He holds a J.D. from the University of Mississippi (2015) and previously served as a law clerk/staff attorney for the First Circuit Court District of Mississippi, Mississippi Supreme Court, and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Mississippi.

• Investigating internal/external factors influencing judicial decisions through legal formalism/realism frameworks
• Examining technology's role in evidence authentication under rules of evidence

Professional Affiliations: Member of the Mississippi Bar Association, serving on committees within the Young Lawyers Division.
