Justin McManus is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Management Science & Information Systems at the Faculty of Management, Dalhousie University. His research focuses on consumer motivations, attitudes, and beliefs influencing product evaluation, brand perception, and impression management. He holds a PhD in Marketing & Psychology from Dalhousie University, a PDF in Marketing & Management from Duke University, an MSc from the University of Guelph, and a BA in Psychology from Carleton University.
Research interests include self-related attitudes, consumption signals (e.g., status, morality), organizational trustworthiness, and new product evaluation. His work bridges marketing, consumer psychology, and organizational behavior, with practical implications for brands, policymakers, and consumer well-being.
