Junu Ojha

Junu Ojha serves as an Associate Professor at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry, teaching General and Oral Pathology to graduate, undergraduate, and dental hygiene students across multiple academic programs.

Education:

• Bachelor of Dental Surgery (B.D.S.) from Calcutta University, India
• Certificate in Oral Pathology from the University of Florida at Gainesville

Research Interests: Professor Ojha specializes in oral pathology with focused investigations into bisphosphonate induced osteochemonecrosis mechanisms, autoimmune manifestations in Sjogren's syndrome, and neuropathic etiologies of burning mouth syndrome. Her clinical research bridges diagnostic pathology with patient-centered therapeutic approaches for complex oral diseases.
