Juniper Harrower is Assistant Professor of Art at Reed College, working at the intersection of ecology and artistic practice. She earned a PhD in plant ecology from UC Santa Cruz and MFA from UC Berkeley, employing multimedia approaches to address multispecies relationships under climate change.
Her research includes:
- Developing fungal composites for ecological restoration
- Documenting pollinator-fungal relationships
- Creating bioart interventions
- Advising on decolonial environmental practices
Professor Harrower has exhibited internationally and received support from:
