Junhyo Lee

Junhyo Lee serves as an Assistant Professor of Philosophy within the Department of Policy Studies (Philosophy, Politics, and Economics) at Hanyang University, South Korea. Previously, he held a prestigious Humboldt Postdoctoral Fellowship at Heinrich Heine University in Germany under the sponsorship of Julia Zakkou, where he conducted advanced interdisciplinary research.

He completed his Ph.D. in 2022 at the University of Southern California under the supervision of Mark Schroeder and Stephen Finlay, establishing a foundation for his current scholarly trajectory. His doctoral work integrated philosophical methodology with empirical linguistic analysis to address complex theoretical problems.

Lee's research program centers on philosophy of language with significant contributions to social and political philosophy. He employs rigorous linguistic data analysis and theoretical frameworks to resolve philosophical puzzles, bridging abstract reasoning with societal implications.
