June C. Paul is an Associate Professor and Chair of the Social Work Department at Skidmore College. She holds a Ph.D. and MSW from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, along with a B.S. from Northern Illinois University. Her work bridges academic scholarship with extensive field experience in human services, policy advising, and administration.
Research focuses on:
- Public and community-based programs for vulnerable children, youth, and families
- Intersectionality and disproportionality in race, class, gender identity, and sexual orientation
- Discrimination in child welfare, juvenile justice, and social service systems
- Equitable care strategies for LGBTQ+ populations
