Jun Zhang

Jun Zhang is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Human-Centered Computing at Monash University's Faculty of Information Technology. He holds a Ph.D. in Information Systems from the City University of Hong Kong, with prior faculty experience at Wuhan University and the University of Science and Technology of China.

His research focuses on human-computer interaction, human-AI interaction, information privacy/security, online deviant behavior, and e-health. He has published in top venues like Information Systems Research, Journal of Management Information Systems, and Computers in Human Behavior, and led NSFC-funded projects. Currently serves as Associate Editor for Communications of the Association for Information Systems and Data and Information Management.

His work combines behavioral science with technology, analyzing phenomena like cyberbullying, gamification outcomes, and AI collaboration networks. Recent studies address cyberloafing mitigation and incentivizing health behaviors through digital platforms.

As a researcher and academic leader, he contributes to advancing ethical technology design and understanding human-tech interactions in both organizational and healthcare contexts.
