Dr. Juliusz Maliszewski is a Lecturer in the Department of Journalism and Social Communication at the Philology and Journalism Faculty of the Vistula Academy of Finance and Business. He holds a PhD in Political Science, an MBA, and has extensive experience as a journalist, diplomat, and media manager. He has held prominent roles including Director-Editor-in-Chief of Polish Radio Abroad, member of TVP SA's Supervisory Board, and Director of the Polish Institute in Leipzig.
His research focuses on international relations, media management, and German/European affairs. He authored the monograph Deutsche Welle in the Media System of the Federal Republic of Germany and has published widely on media and international relations. He currently directs the Journalism and Social Communication Education and Training Programs at his institution.
Maliszewski specializes in German studies and has contributed to media ethics through his work on the TVP Ethics Committee. His career spans public media leadership, diplomatic roles, and academic administration across Poland and Germany.
