Julius Johnson

Julius Johnson is an Assistant Professor of Nursing and Director of the Family Nurse Practitioner Program at Long Island University's School of Nursing.

His research focuses on Family Home-Based Primary Care, Transitional Care, Minority Health, and Medical Marijuana. Dr. Johnson has implemented projects with safety net hospitals to reduce Hospital Readmissions Reduction Program fines and founded Premium Health Depot, NP in Family Health PLLC while serving as President of Dr.Nurses.com.

He actively conducts Naloxone trainings, coaches youth football, mentors students, and delivers motivational speeches guided by his motto: 'children can not grow up to be what they can not see'.
