Julien Kloeg

Dr. Julien Kloeg is an Assistant Professor of Social Philosophy at the Erasmus School of Philosophy (ESPhil) within Erasmus University Rotterdam. His work bridges philosophical anthropology, political theory, and education, with a focus on twentieth- and twenty-first-century European philosophy. As managing editor of the International Yearbook of Philosophical Anthropology and Generalsekretär of the Helmuth Plessner Gesellschaft, he contributes to advancing anthropological discourse.

He coordinates the BA Philosophy and BA Philosophy of a Specific Discipline programs.

Recent publications examine topics such as in-between thinking in education, ambivalent authority, and ecological mapping through philosophical anthropology, reflecting his interdisciplinary approach to educational theory and political philosophy.
