Julien GIBOZ

Julien GIBOZ is a Lecturer at Grenoble INP, affiliated with LEPMI (UMR 5279, CNRS) and the University of Savoie. He holds a Doctorate in Polymer and Composite Materials (2009) and is qualified in materials chemistry, mechanics, and process engineering. His research focuses on processes/structure/properties relationships in polymer micro-objects, including microfabrication techniques, size effects in microinjection molding, and in-situ rheology studies under extreme conditions. He contributes to the Plastipolis competitiveness cluster's scientific committee.

Teaching: He teaches at the IUT de Chambéry Packaging Department, covering materials science (polymers, paper, ceramics), material structure, graphic design, mechanics of materials, and plastics processes. He also instructs at Villefontaine on plastics technology.

Research Highlights: Key work includes modeling polymer crystallization kinetics, analyzing microinjection molding effects on HDPE morphology, and comparing micro- and conventional injection molding outcomes. His studies emphasize rheological behavior and material optimization for miniaturized parts.
