Dr Julien Besle is a Lecturer in Psychology at the School of Psychology, University of Plymouth. His research focuses on the neural underpinnings of sensory perception, including hearing, vision, and touch, utilizing advanced neuroimaging techniques such as EEG, MEG, intracranial EEG, and structural/functional MRI.
His teaching areas include Perception, Cognitive Neuroscience, Brain Imaging, Research Methods, and Statistics. He has co-supervised Master's and PhD students, including Nour Nahle, Iman Nassar, and Ben Gurer, on projects related to auditory cortex parcellation and tonotopic organization.
