Dr. Julien Barrier is a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Quantum Nano-Optoelectronics group at ICFO. His research focuses on quantum phenomena in 2D materials, particularly electronic properties of twisted bilayer graphene and moiré superlattices.
Recent work includes investigating terahertz photocurrent responses in magic-angle graphene structures and developing spectroscopic methods for characterizing superlattice minibands. His research bridges nanomaterial synthesis with quantum transport measurements.
