Professor Julie Stubbs is a criminal justice scholar at UNSW Law, where she has been affiliated since 2010. She serves as an Honorary Professor and was elected a Fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences in Australia in 2019. Previously, she held prominent roles including Professor of Criminology and Director of the Institute of Criminology at the University of Sydney, as well as serving as a senior researcher with the NSW Bureau of Crime Statistics and Research.

- Restorative justice
- Bail and youth offenders
- Cross-cultural criminal justice issues
Scientific awards include
