Julie MacArthur

Dr. Julie MacArthur is an Associate Professor in the Department of History at the University of Toronto Mississauga (UTM). Her research intersects historical geography, postcolonial studies, and African cinema, focusing on cartography, conflict, and memory in modern Africa.

• Decolonization through alternative cartographic practices
