Julie L. Hazelbaker

Julie L. Hazelbaker is a Clinical Assistant Professor and Chair of the AuD Oversight Committee at The Ohio State University, affiliated with the Department of Speech and Hearing Science in the College of Arts and Sciences. She holds a B.A., M.A., and Ph.D. in Speech and Hearing Science from the same institution. Her expertise lies in Audiology, with a focus on clinical practice and education.

Dr. Hazelbaker has worked as a clinical audiologist for seven years and served as an adjunct lecturer before becoming Program Coordinator for the Audiology program in 2005. She teaches courses on professional development, hearing aids, anatomy and physiology, and audiologic assessment. Her roles emphasize bridging clinical practice and academic training in audiology.
