Julie Human is an Associate Professor of French and Francophone Studies at the University of Kentucky, serving as Director of Undergraduate Studies for the Department of Modern and Classical Languages, Literatures, and Cultures, and Director of the French Language Program (FR 101–202). She holds a Ph.D. in French Literature from the University of Michigan (2010), an M.A. from the University of Kentucky (2003), and a B.A. in French and Spanish from Transylvania University (2001).
Her research focuses on Medieval French literature, Arthurian legend, and pedagogical curriculum design. She is affiliated with the Folklore & Mythology, Gender and Women's Studies, and French & Francophone Studies programs.
