Julie Gooding serves as a Lecturer in Adult Nursing at Keele University, based at the Clinical Education Centre in partnership with University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust. Her roles include Clinical Teaching Fellow and Practice Educator Facilitator, with office location Darwin DW1.27 at Newcastle Road, Stoke on Trent.
Her clinical and research expertise centers on women's health, specializing in midwifery, early pregnancy complications, and pregnancy loss management. She pioneered the Nurse Led Service at the Early Pregnancy Unit (Royal Stoke University Hospital), providing specialized care for vulnerable patients. As an Early Pregnancy Nurse Sonographer, she integrated advanced diagnostic skills into patient care, demonstrating a commitment to enhancing clinical practice through extended-role competencies in women's healthcare.
