Julie Gallagher

Julie Gallagher is an Associate Professor of History and Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at Pennsylvania State University. She holds dual affiliations in both departments, contributing to interdisciplinary research at the intersection of historical studies and gender/sexuality studies.

Her research interests focus on topics such as gender in historical contexts, the evolution of sexuality studies, and interdisciplinary approaches to understanding women’s roles in history. She explores how historical narratives intersect with contemporary gender and sexuality discourses.
