Julie Estes

Julie Estes is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Occupational Therapy at Northeastern State University. She holds a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Belmont University (2014) and a Doctor of Occupational Therapy from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions (2014). With 15 years of clinical experience, her work spans pediatric, adult, and geriatric settings, including in-home health, ICU/NICU, acute/long-term care, and school environments. Dr. Estes has extensive teaching experience in occupational therapy assistant programs and community education.

Her research interests align with her clinical expertise in diverse therapeutic settings and educational outreach. She is affiliated with the Mike Synar Center in Muskogee, Oklahoma, and can be reached at estes09@nsuok.edu.
