Julie Beaulieu is a Teaching Associate Professor and Director of Undergraduate Studies in the Gender, Sexuality, and Women's Studies Program at the University of Pittsburgh. She holds a PhD in Literature with a GSWS certificate from the University of Pittsburgh, and a BA in English/Women’s Studies from the University of Southern Maine. Her research focuses on the history of sexuality, global LGBTQ studies, transgender studies, and eighteenth-century British literature, alongside queer, feminist, and affect theory. She is currently developing her book manuscript *Obsessive Love: A Queer History* and co-leading the Pitt LGBTQ Archival Education Project.
