Julian Shun is an Associate Professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) and a principal investigator in the Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL). Previously, he was a Miller Research Fellow at UC Berkeley and earned his Ph.D. from Carnegie Mellon University under Guy Blelloch.
His research focuses on parallel and high-performance computing, with emphasis on graph analytics, spatial/graph clustering, and dynamic algorithms.
