Julian Pan

Julian Pan is an Adjunct Associate Professor at the Strategy & Policy Department of NUS Business School. He is also the Executive Chairman and CEO of SEMICAPS Corporation, leading semiconductor equipment manufacturing and failure analysis services. Previously, he co-founded Lean Care Solutions (healthcare analytics) and EndoPil (medical devices). His expertise spans entrepreneurship, venture capital, and technology strategy.

• Education: BSc and MSc in Industrial & Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan (2010, 2012).
• Research Focus: Strategy, healthcare operations, semiconductor technology, and business analytics.

He actively advises startups and serves on venture committees, including First Rays Venture Partner and Green Meadows Accelerator. Notable recognitions include the 2025 NUS Exceptional Teaching Commendation and the 2018 INFORMS Pierskalla Award. He frequently speaks at events like Duke-NUS Health Innovation Program and NUS MBA panels on entrepreneurship and healthcare innovation.
