Julian DM Lew

Julian DM Lew QC is Professor of International Arbitration Law and Head of the School of International Arbitration at Queen Mary University of London since 1985. Primarily a practising lawyer and arbitrator, he specializes in international commercial arbitration and private international law. His research focuses on various aspects of international arbitration and trade law, evidenced by numerous books and articles he has authored.

Professor Lew serves as the UK member of the International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and participates in key ICC commissions. His work bridges academic rigor with practical legal expertise in dispute resolution mechanisms.
