Julia Szulecka is a Guest Researcher at the TIK Centre for Technology, Innovation and Culture at the University of Oslo (UiO). She holds a Dr. rer. silv. in International Forestry from Dresden University of Technology and a PhD in Forest and Land Economics from the University of Padova (2015). Her research focuses on sustainability issues in food and forestry sectors, food waste governance, and forest policy at global and local levels. She leads the BREAD project (financed by Norway's Research Council), examining food waste reduction strategies using a multi-level governance approach. Her work bridges environmental policy, political ecology, and sustainability transitions.
