Julia Reimer

Julia Reimer is an Associate Professor in the School of Education at Hamline University, where she also serves as Associate Chair. Her work focuses on preparing educators to teach K-12 and adult English language learners and mentoring MA students through their capstone projects.

With extensive experience teaching ESL to adults in Minnesota and Spain, Julia specializes in adult SLIFE (Students with Limited or Interrupted Formal Education), writing skills development, genre pedagogy, and the interplay between teacher identity and practice. She emphasizes reflective teaching practices and interactive, peer-collaborative learning in her courses.
