Julia Reichert

Julia Reichert is an Academy Award-winning American documentary filmmaker and Professor of Film Production at Wright State University. A radical feminist and co-founder of New Day Films and the Independent Feature Project, her work spans decades of socially conscious storytelling. Her films—including Growing Up Female, American Factory, and The Last Truck—have premiered at major festivals like Sundance, Telluride, and Cannes, and been broadcast nationally on PBS and HBO.
