She leads a research group focused on understanding the molecular mechanisms driving pediatric malignant brain tumors, particularly embryonal tumors with multilayered rosettes (ETMRs), atypical teratoid/rhabdoid tumors (ATRTs), and K27M-mutant midline gliomas.
- Research Interests: Her work combines in vitro and in vivo models to explore how developmental pathways like LIN28A overexpression contribute to tumorigenesis, with translational applications to human systems.
- Scientific Contributions: Key publications highlight advancements in proteomics, neural epigenetic signatures, and deep learning-based tumor classification.
- Awards & Memberships: Active member of the German Society for Neuropathology and Neuroanatomy (DGNN) since 2021, participating in professional societies and research networks.
