Julia Harz

Julia Harz leads the Research Group at THEP, focusing on astroparticle physics and particle cosmology. Her work bridges particle physics and cosmology to address fundamental questions about the early universe, dark matter, neutrino properties, and baryon asymmetry. She explores physics beyond the Standard Model (BSM) through phenomenological studies, global fits, and improving theoretical calculations.

Her research spans baryogenesis mechanisms, neutrino mass models, dark matter candidates, and precision calculations under thermal early-universe conditions. Key areas include lepton/baryon number violation, right-handed neutrinos, and implications for experiments (e.g., neutrinoless double beta decay, LHC, gravitational waves).
