Julia Hainz

Julia Hainz is a researcher at the School of Arts, Offenbach University of Art and Design, focused on the aesthetic of fluidity and performative difference beyond capitalist flexibilization.

Her research engages with contemporary performance art, examining alienation, otherness, and fluidity through the lens of capitalist structures. She draws on critical theory, referencing scholars like Catherine Wood and Andreas Reckwitz, and performance artist Verity Spott’s work on trans* manifestos and identity norms.
