Dr Julia Duffy is a Research Fellow at the Australian Centre for Health Law Research within the Faculty of Business and Law at Queensland University of Technology. Her work focuses on the intersection of human rights, mental capacity, and legal frameworks for adults with cognitive disabilities. She authored the 2023 book Mental Capacity, Dignity and the Power of International Human Rights (Cambridge University Press) and coordinates the ACHLR feminist bioethics reading group.
