Julia Czerniak is the Dean of the School of Architecture and Planning and a Professor in the Department of Architecture at the University at Buffalo, State University of New York. Her research focuses on urban landscapes, deindustrializing cities, and climate resilience, bridging architecture and landscape architecture. She holds an MA in Architecture from Princeton University, a Research Master in Architecture from the Glasgow School of Art, and a BS in Landscape Architecture from Pennsylvania State University.
