Julia Combs

Dr. Julia Combs is an Assistant Professor in the Department of English at Southern Utah University (SUU) and serves as Director of the SUU Writing Center. With a focus on academic writing and rhetoric, she teaches courses like ENGL 1010, ENGL 2010, ENGL 3120, and ENGL 3890.

Her research emphasizes the social nature of writing and its role in shaping critical thinking. She has pioneered initiatives like the Technical Writing Certificate and Writing Fellows program.
