Judy Putt

Judy Putt is a Research Fellow at ANU's Department of Pacific Affairs, holding a PhD in anthropology and MPhil in criminology. Her work examines crime prevention and justice reform in Pacific communities through mixed-method approaches.

Research focuses on protection order efficacy in PNG and sorcery-related violence, influencing regional policy. Publications include 31 outputs on policing and gender violence, with fieldwork across Papua New Guinea and Solomon Islands.
