JProf. Dr. Judith Rauscher is a Junior Professor for American Literature and Culture at the University of Cologne since 2020. Her research bridges ecocriticism, mobility studies, and speculative fiction, with a focus on 19th-21st century American poetry of migration. She previously held research and teaching positions at the University of Bamberg (2012-2020) and served in leadership roles, including as Postgraduate Forum Spokesperson for the German Association for American Studies.

Her article trends show engagement with postcolonial environmentalism, queer ecologies, and technoscientific imaginaries.
